Attacking the Civil Unrest Instead of the Reason for It

When civil unrest is due to corrupt governments and policies, it's circular and misguided to attack the ones resorting to the unrest. Fix the root of the problem: the corrupt justice system that lets cops be thugs and go unpunished. Of course nobody likes civil unrest, but that's a natural consequence of a lot of people being fed up. Writing to our reps doesn't work. Unfortunately, what "works" is if you're a big police union telling your rep that he/she won't be endorsed unless...

"Stop resisting!" "Why are you trying to take my gun?!"

Here's a YouTube clip that shows a typical corrupt police tactic: yelling out a different version of events than what's actually occurring.   

The tactic is intended to make viewers of audio or audio-video footage believe that a different version of events is happening than what can be seen or what witnesses say they saw.

After they put their health at risk in order to care for their patients, the Health Ministry blames them for spreading the virus and fines them--just the female nurses, that is.

Are the ISIS Beheading Videos a Sham? A Plausible Theory Not in the Mainstream Press...

I think there are many aspects of these so-called ISIS beheading videos that bring their credibility into question, and this guy makes a lot of good points. Note that he's not attempting to provide all the answers to the questions he raises: he's simply raising the questions and explaining what some of the possible incentives would be if indeed these videos are a sham.
